Why now
The tip jar stopped working.
Tipping at a wash used to run on whatever was in the cupholder. That change stopped showing up, and the ask got awkward: a QR code taped to a window, a jar with nothing in it, a customer apologizing through the glass.
Tip Box puts the ask back where it belongs, in front of the customer at the moment they want to say thanks, and finishes it in about five seconds. Every tap is recorded, so the end-of-shift split comes from a number instead of a memory.
Tip Box is its own product, with its own terminal, its own screen, and its own published pricing. Cactus Wash Systems sells and supports it for wash operators, and it runs on the same platform as MonsoonOS, so a wash already on MonsoonOS turns it on instead of buying a second system.

- Two boxes, two ways to start each. The full-size Tip Box is $599 one-time, or nothing down at $79 per month on a 24-month term. The Tip Box Mini is $199 one-time, or nothing down at $69 per month. After the term the fee drops to $59 and the box is yours.
- Software is billed monthly. Buy the box and service is month to month, cancelable at any time. No money down carries the 24-month term per box.
- Pooling, shift closeout, the payroll export, and the reporting dashboard are all included at no extra cost.
- Processing is 3.5% + $0.30 on each tip, charged as a cost on the transaction.
- Depending on your state rules, that cost can be taken out of the tip, absorbed by the wash, or covered by the customer at the box.
- Additional boxes are $29 per month each on the standard plan, either size. With no money down, additional full-size boxes are $49 per month each and additional Minis are $39 per month each, and each box carries its own 24-month term from the date it is installed. Delivery and any tax are quoted separately.
